Effective May 2, 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of omnicourtreporting.com (the “Site”), operated by OMNI Court Reporting, LLC (“OMNI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms.
Services
OMNI provides court reporting, legal videography, transcription, subpoena service, document processing, conference rooms, videoconferencing, and courier services to attorneys, law firms, and other legal professionals throughout Louisiana and, through our national affiliate network, beyond.
No Attorney–Client Relationship
OMNI is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Submitting an inquiry, scheduling request, or contact form through this Site does not create an attorney–client relationship between you and OMNI. Information you submit through this Site should not include privileged communications or substantive case strategy.
Scheduling and Cancellation
Service confirmations, fees, cancellation policies, and turnaround times are governed by the engagement letter or written confirmation we provide for your specific assignment. In the absence of a written agreement, our then-current standard rates and policies apply. Late cancellations and no-shows may be billed at the full scheduled rate.
Confidentiality
Our court reporters, videographers, and staff are bound by professional confidentiality obligations. We treat case materials, witness identities, and substantive content as confidential and disclose them only to parties of record, the court, or as authorized by you or required by law.
Accuracy of Transcripts
We prepare verbatim transcripts in accordance with the Code of Professional Conduct of the Louisiana Board of Examiners of Certified Shorthand Reporters. If you believe a transcript contains an error, you must notify us within the time period required by Louisiana law (typically thirty days for errata) so the record may be corrected.
Intellectual Property
All content on this Site — including text, graphics, logos, and the OMNI name — is owned by or licensed to OMNI and is protected by U.S. and international intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
Disclaimers
The Site and its content are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Information on the Site does not constitute legal advice and should not be relied upon as a substitute for consultation with a licensed attorney.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, OMNI’s total liability arising out of or related to your use of the Site or any inquiry submitted through it is limited to one hundred dollars ($100). OMNI is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Lafayette Parish, Louisiana.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Effective” date above shows when they were last revised. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
